boring-brain is the operations and reporting system used by the staff of Boring Insurance Agency, an independent commercial insurance brokerage. It is not a product, and it is not available to the public or to clients.

What it does

It brings together the records that are otherwise spread across the separate systems this agency runs on, so the people here can see one account in one place:

• enquiries submitted on boring.insure, and the advertising campaign each came from;
• leads and sales from our customer relationship system;
• bound policies and renewals from our agency management system;
• calls with clients, and reviews of how those calls were handled;
• reporting on which advertising produces policies we actually write.

Why it asks you to sign in

Signing in with Google confirms you are a member of staff here. We request only your name, email address and profile — nothing else, and nothing is read from your Google account beyond confirming who you are. Accounts outside the agency's own domain are refused.
